Fossil collecting trip by vehicle and by pontoon boat
1. This will be a fossil collecting field trip to Lincoln County Missouri and to Mark Twain Lake for the collecting of Mississippian Marine fossils.
2. Time, date and duration of Trip: This trip will leave from the Show site in
    Queeny Park on Friday,  August 19, 2005 at 7:00 AM .This will be an approximate 8 hour collecting trip.
3.Cost and means of travel: This trip will be by private car and because of the cost of gasoline, it is suggested that one vehicle take several people. If that is the case it is suggested that that the driver of that vehicle be reimbursed at least $5.00 for each person in their vehicle. In addition to the cost of driving there will be the
cost of renting a pontoon boat for a half a day and this will be $20.00 per person. The collecting area is along the shores of Mark Twain Lake in Northeast Missouri and here Mississippian Marine Fossils will be collected.
     This is a Corps of Engineers controlled lake and the collecting are is an area that is off limits to any motor vehicles. This is a darn good fishing lake to.
